“That’s why I came when I did. I keep tabs on them you know…”
He chuckled.
“More than anything I just wanted to remind myself that I COULD see you if I wanted too. Well that and I have this weird metal flower thing I found in the trash behind my house in 3.”
“I would of guessed it was because you wanted to know if I burnt up in the fire, but I guess that hasn’t made it out to the public yet.” She laughed.
“Weird metal flower thing?” She asked. “Well, that’s sounds neat. Did you bring it?”

“I’m pretty sure they just bribed them. The President really should pay them more.”
He’d done it before himself. Hell, if he’d wanted too he could have killed Snow before.
But taht would have been a suicide run…not something he wanted.
“True.” She nodded, letting out a quiet sigh and giving him a shake of her head. “It’s whatever. I’ve learned to deal with it.” Vendetta smiled. It got a little bit too much sometimes, but it wasn’t horrible. She could be out in the districts starving.
“So, whats brought you here, Deej? You’re lucky my parents aren’t here right now.”

“Probably was a camera, knowing these freaks.”
“I’m surprised they got past the guards.” Vendetta shook her head. “You never know what extents they’ll go to to get some footage or a quality picture.”

“You’re the grand-daughter of President Snow. You could tell them you torture insects for pleasure and they’d think it was cute.”
“Tempting.” Vendetta snickered. “They’d probably find out I was lying sooner or later though, they follow me everywhere I go. I swear I saw a camera in my bedroom window once.”

“Only in the Capitol would something like that make headlines. Sparks, are the people here really that BORED?”
“Probably not, but if you think about it, everyone would love to know my everyday routine. Cute, little nine year old Vendetta boils flour water, let’s spread it around and bombard her on her birthday. Borderline obsession, I tell ya’.”

“Thats because its up there.”
Deejay pointed to the roof, and the recessed fire supression foam nozzles installed there.
“I don’t think anybody told me because they doubted I’d even try baking after the last time.” She said, eyes trailing up to the nozzles as she went back to the time her mother had caught her boiling a pot of flour and water. It ended up in the tabloids and her whole ninth birthday consisted of people asking her what she was trying to do, she simply replied with, “trying to make a cake.” Public humiliation at it’s finest, at least for her.

“You should probably leave fire extinguishing to them too…or to the automated system anyway.”
“I was panicking! By then, the drapes had caught fire. I couldn’t even find the extinguisher.”

“Yes, good! But a bit more snarl with your mouth. Remember, you’re trying to change the minds of the Capitol’s citizens. They’re hardened. You need to look truely threatening. You’ve got a good start though.”
She nodded, adding a subtle snarl. “This is a lot harder than I thought, I guess I should of started practicing my evil look a long time ago.” Vendetta shook her head and stood up straight, a smile forming on her lips. “I’m glad I was chosen for this part though.”

“Lower your eyes more, like you’re focusing on a target, or your prey. Like a rock hound. Clench your fists, pull your lips up slightly, hunch over…”
He demonstrated with his own body like.
“Like this, see?”
“Creepy.” She commented, watching as he demonstrated. Vendetta sighed and did as he said, picturing a person laying between the two, someone who had made her angry or threatened someone she cared about. “Like…this?”
