“I’m just so happy you’re home…”

“You’re like…super adorable when you sleep, and I’m really hoping you are asleep, because if you heard that things would get really awkward.”

She didn’t know what happened, first she was messing around with a peacekeeper in two, which probably was the worst idea ever, and then she woke up in the hospital with a bandage on her shoulder and one killer headache. Vendetta wasn’t expecting the peacekeeper to harm her in any way, especially when they knew exactly who she was.
“Dad?” She mumbled as she saw him through the large glass window which separated her room from the main front desk.
“She’s right back there…” The woman behind the desk pointed back to her with her ink pin, offering Marcus a soft smile. “You may go in, she’s awake.”
➑ a goodbye letter
Dear Asp,
It’s time for me to flee, and by flee I mean leave the District. I need to go home before my Mother freaks out, I didn’t tell you this, but she said I couldn’t come here, so I sneaked out. So maybe she’s already freaking out, anyway, they’ve probably already got a frickin’ search party out for me, so that’s why I left extra early this morning. I’ve taken Harley with me, he says bye, but I probably will be grounded for the rest of this month. I promise I’m not ignoring you, and maybe I can steal my phone back. Oh well. I’ve got to get going now. I need to get to the train station. :)
The End.
( Yes, I know that’s not how you end a letter. Shush.)

“Ice Cream! Ice Cream! Please? I’ll do anything! Ice cream!”

“Forget I said that, okay? I didn’t think before speaking.”

“O-Okay, thank you. Nightmares usually don’t bother me, but that one got to me…”
