“Of course I am. I don’t usually go out a whole lot anyway.”
“Actually, that sounds kind of sad.” She said after a moment.
“How?” She questioned. “I told them not to worry, they got the point, and they listened to me. They trust me, anyway.”
—“It’s artsy, darling," he said, lighting his cigarette and taking a drag. "This is how performers do their makeup." That was his excuse for screwing up anyway. He was shit at doing other people’s makeup for them.
"It’s weird.” Vendetta shook her head. Her eyes cast down to his cigarette for just a moment before she glanced back up at him. “Maybe I’m not a fan of it because I’m not a performer. It is artsy though, I’ll give you that.”
